HEEEEEY people!!

I know I abandoned this blog for so long. My latest ever post almost a year ago, and I can explain. I was experiencing so many ups and downs in life, including blogging. Since I decided to update and get together my as* here, I want to write a quick update about my 2019 life, especially on June (because it's July already).

I GOT BRACES. Yall. Can you believe it because I can't. I planned to get braces since 5 years ago and never got them. I didn't know why but maybe it was because my parents has some things that they prioritized more than getting their daughter a braces. I completely understand. Having braces affects my lifestyle too, which is great. I become assiduous when it comes to clean my teeth, as dental hygiene is SUPER important to anyone who get braces.

I'M BEING PRODUCTIVE. Being productive is definitely something I could be proud of (because I'm a total human sloth). So this week;
- I delivered a package to my carousell buyer (for anyone who doesn't know what carousell is, it's basically like depop or poshmark) and I made money from it!
- I went to an orthodontist and got braces as I mentioned above.
- Accompanied my mum to hospital nearby since she has to get her blood pressure checked and other medical checkups. She's fine, but she has to fix her dietary habit.
- Grocery shopping.
- Clean my room (more like decluttering)
- Do chores!! Wash dishes, clean all tables, tidy all my clothes up.
- Went on a family gathering. \m/

and I have upcoming cooking class on July 7! I will cook 4 Japanese dishes there, and I'm so excited!!! (this could be really challenging for someone who can't cook at. all. but at least I know how to turn on the stove).

Not going to lie and sugarcoat my productiveness so it is write-worthy, most of the time I watch youtube for hours, binge Studio Ghibli movies and netflix series.

DISCOVERED NEW MUSIC GENRES. To be freaking honest, I'm bored enough with mainstream songs these days, so I discovered so many underrated songs on Spotify, which I think way better than most of those mainstream songs. I also listen to songs that not really familiar with my liking, but ended up liking it. Name it, Finding Hope, Always Never, Boy Pablo, Lany, 6lack, Clairo, etc.

WATCH GREAT MOVIES & SERIES
Should I give details and reviews of movies & series I've watched here? Sure why not lmaoo.

1. Kiki's Delivery Service // ★★★★☆ (4)
fancaps.net

For those Studio Ghibli addicts would definitely recognize this movie! I really LOOOOVE SG's graphic. And from what I read, the animators used some place in Europe as inspiration for this movie took place on, even though this movie is Japanese. Jiji (Kiki's cat) is such a mood and relatable!! But honestly I did expect more unexpected plot on the story line.

2. From Up On The Poppy Hill // ★★★★☆ (3.5)

Another Studio Ghibli yallll. The story line is pretty standard for me, but again, I LOVE THE FREAKING GRAPHICS AND AESTHETICS of this movie, pardon my capslock. This movie does have a plot twist but not really a wow one. But I love the relationship between Shun and Umi OMGGGG!! (me, uncontrollable fangirling mode.) I would recommend you to watch this on your free time!

3. Spirited Away // ★★★★ (5)

This one is pretty much the OG of Studio Ghibli, right? I never knew of SG before but I heard this particular movie a lot because everyone literally watches this. And I finally watched it like a week ago lmaoooo. I know that this movie has pretty weird characters by how they look and move, but despite that this movie has deep meanings. I love the chemistry between Haku and Chihiro, and how hardworking Chihiro was to get out from a peculiar world she never seen before, and to get her parents back to their original form. Definitely worth 5 stars!

4. Changeling // ★★★★ (4.5)

Basically, this movie starring Angelina Jolie is based on a true case where an amber alert happened on 1928 but the kid never found, so this case became an unsolved case. I really get the vibe on how psychopathic Gordon was, how frustrated and persistent Christine was, and how cunning and not responsible LAPD were. Worth to watch after all!

So that was it! I'm going to stop this post right here before it's too long xD How's your June going? Let me know!
